Typography
Slack Sessions

This project was our final one in a Typography class, allowing us to use an accumulation of all the skills we had learned throughout the course of the class. The premise was to create a typographic identity for some type of conference, workshop, or festival on our campus of Illinois State University. I chose to do a musical festival, with various smaller known artists, that would include a variety of booths of local cuisines and artist popups. We were to use a modular kit of parts throughout our design, mine being a typeface I created from musical notes seen in sheet music. I used parts of this kit all through my design, be it on the event poster or the informational booklet trying to create a cohesive look, while using colors similar to the ones seen on the Illinois State emblem.
