The objective of this project was to take a mundane object, and brainstorm a way to turn it into an interesting product, one found in a possibility of stores. After the idea creation, we were to make an appealing and innovative package design. My mundane item was a series of cardboard boxes, designed and packaged for children, as a way to convert them and create a limitless number of possible outcomes. My package design was a meticulously created belly band, able to slide off the original packaging to allow for an extra box for possible designs. Included within the product was a How To Kit, consisting of a booklet with step by step instructions, kraft paper for various design projects, as well as a set of markers and pair of kid safe scissors.
