“When the well is dry, we will know the worth of water”
– Benjamin Franklin
The Future of Tomorrow is an overall look into a world where global problems plaguing society are extinguished. It does so by speculating on the processes needed to go about doing so.
Currently, Water Scarcity is a major issue in today’s society with 1 in 3 people affected worldwide and it is the specific problem I am focusing on, though I plan for these steps to be applicable to all world problems.
In my speculative world, we all see ourselves as one people, united, looking to solve any and all problems because we care about the ethical reality of helping our fellow world citizens.
And this second poster depicts the process needed to go about reaching these communities, starting with the organizations working in the area, down to the heads of household.
Whereafter, a problem solving ideation period will start, ending in a solution. The one to water scarcity specifically being a rainwater reservoir and pipeline system I created to be ran to each community using a sand filtration system and the use of wind energy in the form of bladeless wind turbines.
The culmination of which leads to, at least in my specific speculative future, the problems of today being gone entirely. And as the world keeps spinning, new ones may come about, but they are solved with the swiftness of a population who has faced many challenges but rose through them all.
